Help Me To Carry The Fire

Following a period of introspection during my residency at Arcade Arts, I successfully developed my inaugural series of exploratory works that delve into my memories. This collection examines both my passion and my anxiety. Coming from a working-class background, where many family members strayed into illegal activities, choosing to pursue art was a challenging decision. Nevertheless, my heart is full, and I am committed to continuing my creative journey to inspire my children to discover their own passions in life.

This body of work encapsulates all the life experiences that have personally molded me. These works aim to present the perspective of a woman, mother, and artist who is striving to be more for her children and to inspire them. However, they also seek to demonstrate to other women that pursuing passions creates opportunities. Don’t settle in life; instead, create what brings you happiness
