A woman with curly brown hair wearing glasses and a beige cardigan sits at a table, with her hand covering her mouth, in a restaurant setting. A cup filled with coffee and some cigarettes are on the table.

I am a mother of three, a wife, a visual artist, an educator, and a researcher, although the sequence of these roles often shifts.

I faced a challenging beginning in life, but after having my children and realizing they were observing my every action, I discovered a desire to be an inspiration.

I wanted to provide them with more, but first, I needed to cultivate more for myself.

When I realized my continued interest in creating, I uncovered my true passion.

I create to forge connections with others.

To me, connection offers hope to those who feel isolated.

Until I discovered the art community, I had never experienced a sense of belonging.

Now, I aspire to share my work and the connections I’ve made with those who find life challenging, aiming to illuminate inspiration for those who strive and persist.

Hard work yields positive outcomes.

As a visual artist, I delve into and experiment with my memories. Given that the initial chapters of my life were tumultuous and chaotic, I believe my work ought to mirror that experience. I enrich my paintings with a blend of aspirational imagery alongside florals and foliage. The overlap of these floral and foliage elements with the figurative aspects is what links to my spirituality. I discovered my faith as an adult, and nurturing that connection is significant to me. I cherish my faith deeply; it keeps me grounded and encourages me to maintain a perspective towards others.

Here is my list of accomplishments
